Flint’s mission is to solve the healthcare labor shortage by helping international talent build long-term careers in the United States.

About Flint

Flint Healthcare is tackling one of the most urgent challenges in the United States: the critical shortage of nurses. We connect exceptional international and U.S.-based healthcare professionals with hospitals and care organizations that offer direct employment and a path to U.S. permanent residency—strengthening care teams across the country while creating life-changing opportunities for clinicians and their families.

Our mission comes from lived experience. One of our founders immigrated from South Africa, so the power of a single opportunity to change a life isn’t abstract to us. Another founder’s wife is a nurse, and another’s mother—who immigrated from Hong Kong—built a 25-year career caring for patients here. Stories like hers are everywhere. We believe there are millions more people around the world who want to build a future in U.S. healthcare, and that solving the nursing shortage starts by making it possible for them to do so.

Flint provides end-to-end support: matching with healthcare organizations, interview preparation, licensing guidance, immigration sponsorship, relocation, and long-term success in a new community. Real people supporting real people, through one of the biggest decisions of their lives.

Flint is backed by leading investors including Y Combinator, Haystack VC, Audacious Ventures, and Rhino VC—early supporters of companies like Airbnb, DoorDash, Instacart, and Klarna. Our fast-growing, mission-driven team now works across 20+ states, helping hospitals deliver quality care to tens of thousands of patients each year. And we’re just getting started.
